The other half of Maryland. The small business route here is one of the most generous incentive levels anywhere in our territory.

What the program actually pays for

Small Business Energy Solutions covers up to 85 percent of energy-efficient upgrades for the site.
Building Tune-up covers up to 85 percent of the services that optimise a building's energy performance, which is the retro-commissioning route rather than the equipment route.
Direct and custom incentives are available for energy efficiency upgrades that fall outside the small business route.
Instant Discounts take the incentive off at checkout on energy-efficient products from participating distributors.

Eligibility is decided by the utility serving your service address, not by your business address. We confirm which program applies, what it is worth on your fixture count, and what the net cost would be, before anything is ordered.

How we run it

Eligibility review. We confirm which utility serves the address, which programs the facility qualifies for, and which measures on your site are on the current incentive list.
Documentation. We prepare the application, the fixture schedule, the pre and post counts and the supporting evidence the program requires, in the format it requires.
Utility coordination. We deal with the program representative directly, answer their queries and hold the project until written pre-approval is in hand.
Project management. From approval through to completion we manage the schedule, the electricians, the material and the site access as one scope.
Verification. We complete the post-installation verification the program requires so the incentive is actually paid, which is the step most projects get wrong.
