The prescriptive route for business customers across northern and central New Jersey. It is strict on sequence, which is exactly where projects run aground when nobody is managing the paperwork.
What the program actually pays for
- Prescriptive incentives cover lighting and lighting controls, heating and cooling, HVAC controls, refrigeration and food service equipment.
- Projects must receive pre-approval before the equipment is purchased. Buy first and the incentive is gone.
- Pre-approved offers are valid for 30 days, and the equipment must be purchased and installed within 90 days of the offer letter.
- Completed projects have a 90-day lookback window, but those offers are valid for only 15 days and the final documents are due within 15 days.
- A completed Core Incentives Workbook must accompany every application. We prepare it with the fixture schedule and the pre and post counts already reconciled.
