Industries we serve

Every building type puts a different demand on its lighting. A cold store is not an office and a gym is not a clinic, so we specify to the environment rather than to a catalogue default.

Where we work

Facilities we light

Seven building types we work in most often. If yours is not listed, the assessment is still free.

Warehouses

High-bay LED that lights the aisle floor and the top rack evenly, so pickers read labels at height without a torch and forklift traffic is visible end to end.

  • High-bay and linear high-bay specified to real mounting heights, not a generic ceiling assumption
  • Aisle-level occupancy sensing so quiet zones cost nothing to keep lit
  • Dock doors, yard and car park lighting claimed under the same incentive

Manufacturing Facilities

Industrial-grade fixtures rated for the heat, vibration, dust and wash-down that a production floor actually puts them through, with the light levels inspection work needs.

  • Fixtures rated for the heat, vibration, dust or wash-down of the actual process
  • Light levels set for inspection and quality work, not just for circulation
  • Phased changeover so no production cell loses light during a shift

Distribution Centers

Even illumination across pick faces, staging and dock doors, with controls that dim the quiet zones and bring them back the moment someone enters.

  • Even illumination across pick faces, staging lanes and dock doors
  • Controls that dim low-traffic zones and bring them back on entry
  • Colour rendering high enough to read labels and damage accurately

Office Buildings

Low-glare panels and troffers at comfortable colour temperatures, with daylight harvesting on the window line and scheduling on the floors that empty at six.

  • Low-glare panels and troffers at comfortable colour temperatures
  • Daylight harvesting on the window line where it pays for itself fastest
  • Scheduling on floors that empty predictably, plus stairwell and back-of-house

Retail Stores

Accurate colour rendering so stock looks like it does in daylight, accent lighting on displays, and a lower fixed cost per square foot every month.

  • High colour rendering so stock looks the way it does in daylight
  • Accent and display lighting separated from general illumination
  • Installed overnight so the store trades normally the next morning

Schools & Gyms

Flicker-free classroom lighting and impact-rated high-bay for sports halls, installed in term breaks so nothing disrupts the timetable.

  • Flicker-free classroom lighting appropriate for extended reading and screens
  • Impact-rated high-bay for sports halls and gymnasiums
  • Scheduled into term breaks so nothing disrupts the timetable

Medical Facilities

Consistent, high colour rendering illumination for clinical areas, corridors and waiting rooms, phased ward by ward so the facility keeps running.

  • Consistent high colour rendering illumination for clinical areas
  • Softer, lower-glare treatments for waiting areas and corridors
  • Phased ward by ward and room by room so the facility keeps operating

Common ground

What every one of them gets

The building type changes the specification. It does not change how we run the project.

Utility rebate expertise

We identify which programs a facility qualifies for and manage the paperwork through approval, so the incentive is secured before the first fixture is ordered.

Licensed installation

Installations are carried out by licensed electricians to manufacturer instructions and applicable electrical code, with minimal disruption to daily operations.

DLC listed technology

Every fixture we supply is DesignLights Consortium listed or equivalent, which is what makes a project eligible for prescriptive utility incentives in the first place.

Controls included

Occupancy sensors and lighting controls are specified as part of the scope, not sold back later, because they carry their own incentive and their own savings.
